Golf is a very demanding sport that requires a lot of movement in our bodies. Add in the high rotational speeds, and it’s only a matter of time before the body needs to recover. If your dad has trouble playing golf due to an achy back, neck, or hips, our lab experience will help us create some strategies that can allow him to play golf more often with fewer aches and pains. We utilize 3D motion capture technology to fully assess what the body is doing during the golf swing. We can see how the pelvis, torso, and arms are working together, showing us the sequencing of the golf swing, but more importantly, HOW the golfer is getting down to the ball. We can see which joints or areas of the body that could be working overtime to make that movement happen.
Our lab experience is a unique physical assessment of HOW and WHY your body moves in your golf swing to find ways to increase performance, from gaining yards off the tee to swinging pain-free. Instead of getting another new Driver, get rid of those aches and pains after a long day of golf. Your body is your signature in the golf swing. How you move is how you can play.
